Next week, the entire music industry converges on a 10 square mile patch of Austin, Texas, for SXSW. Industry types hobnob with dudes in jean jackets with Metallica patches. Bands play 700 shows in 72 hours, and literally every spider hole, dive, bar, restaurant, church, alley, slightly elevated patch of land, and manhole will be hosting music.

Oh, and also the Vinyl Me, Please team will be there. We’re stoked to announce that we are co-hosting the Carpark Records Showcase on Thursday, March 17, at Swan Dive. The showcase features Carpark artists Prince Rama, TEEN, Greys, and others.

But if you come through to the showcase you’ll get more than just seeing Carpark artists: we’ll be there to give out free swag! The first 100 attendees will receive custom tote bags featuring goodies from VMP and Carpark, including LPs. We'll also be raffling off VMP subscriptions and limited edition vinyl. There will be a Carpark-themed drink special with Parce Rum.

If you’re not coming to SXSW, do not fret; though you will miss out on begging us in person to give you hints about future Vinyl Me, Please featured albums, you can still win the totes of vinyl swag. Register via the contest widget above, and we’ll be choosing four swag bag winners on March 22.
