2015年，丹·奧爾巴赫(Dan Auerbach)與里昂·米歇爾斯(Leon Michels)、尼克·莫夫申(Nick Movshon)、霍默·斯坦韋斯(Homer Steinweiss)及已故的理查德·斯威夫特(Richard Swift)（他於2018年去世）一起進入錄音室，錄製了The Arcs的首張專輯Yours, Dreamily，這是在兩周內進行的一系列隨意錄音過程。如今，七年多過去了，這些錄音會話成為幸存成員製作期待已久的後續專輯Electrophonic Chronic的基礎，這是一張充滿迷幻搖滾、粗獷放克和富有靈魂韻律的作品。
限量發行1,000張，The Arcs的Electrophonic Chronic VMP獨家版採用180克透明藍色潑點黑膠在孟菲斯唱片壓制公司製作。該專輯由Sterling Sound的格雷格·卡爾比(Greg Calbi)和史蒂夫·法隆(Steve Fallone)進行母帶製作，並將以單個、直接印刷板、箔壓和編號的封面到達。
