Archers of Loaf的起源始於1991年，在北卡羅來納州的教堂山，由Eric Bachmann（主唱/吉他）、Eric Johnson（吉他）、Matt Gentling（貝斯）和Mark Price（鼓）組成，憑藉其融合了朋克和搖滾元素的尖銳聲音在地下音樂中崛起。1998年，樂隊發行了四張錄音室專輯、多張EP和數首單曲後解散，選擇各自的發展。二十多年後，Archers of Loaf重新出現，推出新曲《Raleigh Days》，標誌著他們的回歸。如今，接近25年後，他們透過新專輯Reason in Decline鞏固他們的重返。
限量500份的Archers of Loaf VMP獨家版Reason in Decline，選用1LP不透明紫色、黑白漩渦黑膠唱片，並將附有單張直板、箔印和編號的外套及下載碼。專輯由芝加哥母帶服務的Bob Weston進行母帶制作。
