Originally released in 1968, Safe At Home by The International Submarine Band, led by the then-unknown 21-year-old Gram Parsons, was the group's only album release. Safe at Home, described as "hippie and hillbilly in equal measure", features four of Parsons' original compositions rounded out by six covers of rock and roll and country songs by Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Merle Haggard, and Hank Snow.
Limited to 1000 copies, the VMP exclusive version of The International Submarine Band's Safe At Home is pressed on Seaglass Blue vinyl at Citizen Vinyl. The 1 LP will arrive in a single, direct-to-board, foil-stamped and numbered jacket. The (AAA) lacquers were cut by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio.
