Philadelphia-based rock band Speedy Ortiz ventured to Joshua Tree's Rancho de la Luna and El Paso’s Sonic Ranch to create their first new song since 2018. The single "Scabs", engineered and mixed by Sarah Tudzin of Illuminati Hotties, is a peek at the band's desires to push themselves politically and musically, while Rabbit Rabbit offers the full scope of just how far they can go.
The VMP exclusive edition of Rabbit Rabbit is pressed on exclusive 1LP Blood Red & Black Galaxy "Flames" vinyl. It comes in a direct-to-board, foil-stamped and numbered gatefold jacket and includes a 12x24" lyric poster. The album is mastered by Emily Lazar and Chris Allgood at The Lodge Mastering, with lacquers cut by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service.
