Paul Jackson was a founding member of the Headhunters under Herbie Hancock (THE group responsible for their ground-breaking fusion and jazz-funk compositions that took the world by storm in the 70's). Talented bassist, composer, and producer made five solo albums including Black Octopus which is considered to be a kind of lost Headhunters album featuring Alphonse Mouzon, Roy Ayers, Betty Davis, Azar Lawrence Bennie Maupin and Herbie Hancock.
Limited to 300 copies, the VMP exclusive version of Paul Jackson's Black Octopus is pressed on 180g Gold (AAA) vinyl at Precision Record Pressing (PRP). The 1LP will arrive in a single, direct-to-board, foil-stamped and numbered jacket.
