Lupe Fiasco's first album since 2018 was recorded across three days. The Chicago native described Drill Music in Zion as his "illmatic."
The album's engineer Craig Bauer (Late Registration, Graduation, Food & Liquor, The Cool) also stated in a comment, "Honestly... it's the best rap album I've ever mixed. 'Album of the liftime' Grammy."
Limited to 500 copies, the VMP exclusive edition of Lupe Fiasco's Drill Music in Zion is pressed on 2LP Opaque Orange vinyl with an etching on side D. The record will arrive in a gatefold direct-to-board, foil stamped and numbered jacket.
