In the space of around 30 months starting in mid '68, Creedence Clearwater Revival pumped out a whopping 6 LPs, topped the charts worldwide, and left an indelible mark on rock history. After 1970's Pendulum, their last masterpiece, they'd make just one more album, before calling it quits. So in a sense, Pendulum is something like their last missive as conquering heroes; it's got "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" and any number of other singles you have had burned into your cerebral cortex by your dad/uncle/grandpa. This 50th Anniversary edition was remastered for a recent box set, and is being released on its own in this color edition.
