In 1989, Alfred Hitchcock's thrilling 1958 film, Vertigo, was added to the US Library of Congress' National Film Registry, a list of films deemed "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant." Since then, the movie has only been added to a number of lists lauding it for its brilliance. With a film and director as iconic and influential as both Vertigo and Hitchcock himself, it's only apt for the film score and composer to be equally as paramount.
The VMP edition of Vertigo, composed by Bernard Herrmann, is pressed on 180g 1LP Film Noir black and white vinyl at RTI. It will arrive in a single tip-on jacket that is foil stamped and numbered. This record was remastered from the original analog tapes.
