Jazz saxophonist Marshall Allen turned 100 in May 2024, and celebrated by heading into the studio to record his first solo album. This guy has played in the Sun Ra Arkestra since 1958 — Eisenhower was president! — and only just now got around to making his debut, New Dawn. It’s emotional and beautiful and showcases Allen’s incredible playing honed over the decades. Our version is limited to 300 units.
