In 2011, Adult Swim Vice President Jason DeMarco made a simple connection between rapper and producer in the name of Williams Street. Killer Mike: a true Atlantan, child of the Dungeon Family, rapping like his forefathers that’d burn a flag once they step off the stage. El-P: a Brooklyn veteran, champion of Def Jux, grizzled architect of the underground via bars and boards.
