The prolific band Dawes was initially formed from the remnants of their first venture, Simon Dawes. Nothing Is Wrong arrived as the band’s sophomore album and was initially released in 2011. The album came as a strong successor to their debut album, North Hills, and even surpassed their debut’s success. Lead singer and guitarist Taylor Goldsmiths’ warm vocals steep through each song on the album’s tracklist, giving pauses to fervent guitar and piano solos. Dawes moves through sounds both mellow and euphoric, standing on a balanced bridge of melodies to meet every taste.
