For the last decade, Justin Vernon’s Bon Iver project has been an inward-looking insular thing, one sad, lonely man singing out to whoever may or may not be listening to him, whether or not he’s singing from Kanye’s Hawaiian Vacation or from his dad’s hunting cabin.
