Aussie favorite Montero is back with another psychedelic dream in the form of his new track “Tokin’ The Night Away” off of his upcoming LP, Performer. It’s a perfectly hazy weed-coma of a song that makes us miss the summer sun.

Curls, the new project from Girls’ Christopher Owens, released a refreshingly light EP last week entitled Vante. We’re hoping that, even though the group has no intention of doing the traditional “band thing,” they will continue to release music on this level.

I’d never expect to scroll through my feed and see a NE-HI track featuring Jamila Woods; but hey, it’s 2017, I guess anything can happen. The odd pair have released a stellar single called “The Times I’m Not There,” which blends the Chicago rock band’s gritty textures with Jamila’s smooth voice perfectly.

New artist forecast: True Blue has been semi-active on Soundcloud for the past few years, uploading short and sweet demos that have showed insane amounts of promise. Finally, Porches bassist, Maya Laner, has released a primped and polished single that does not disappoint.
