BADBADNOTGOOD and Samuel T. Herring have proven once again that combined, they are an unstoppable force. ‘I Don’t Know’ is a perfect, introspective fall track that sounds like a forgotten Bill Withers jam. Awate have released a new single ‘Jewels’ with production that’s reminiscent of both Madlib and J Dilla. This is their first single since their 2015 EP, Shine Ancient. Not only does it show growth, but it shines a light on the new class of UK rap. Last, and certainly not least, Fever Ray is finally releasing new music after an 8-year hiatus. ’To the Moon and Back’ features her haunting vocals, signature synth sounds and has us officially on the hype train.

New artist forecast: Reykjavíkurdætur, an all-female collective turned one of Iceland’s most interesting hip hop groups, are killing it on their newest single ‘Reppa Heiminn’. There is something innately special when a song not only breaks the language barrier through it’s beat and vocal cadence, but the translation ends up being inspirational and empowering - don’t sleep on these ladies!
