Last summer, Vinyl Me, Please presented the first official U.S. vinyl release of Mariah Carey’s legendary Daydream album. It got us thinking: What other famous, classic pop albums don’t have vinyl issues? It brought us to the star of this year’s Super Bowl halftime show: Jennifer Lopez.
For the first time, the Hustlers star’s (she got robbed at the Golden Globes!) debut LP, On the 6, is on vinyl. Featuring hits like “If You Had My Love” and “Waiting For Tonight,” the album made J.Lo into a hyphenate superstar, launching a No. 1 single, and hitting the top 10 on Billboard’s album charts at the peak of boybands. We have it on white and brown galaxy vinyl. Here’s the album again in case you need a refresher:
Also on vinyl officially for the first time — it came out as a promo copy that sells for a pretty penny on Discogs — is Lopez’s sophomore album J.Lo. An even bigger hit than her debut, it hit No. 1 on Billboard’s album charts, and spawned hit singles like “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” and “I’m Real.” We have it on royal blue and black galaxy vinyl. Here’s the album for you to relive your peak 2001:
Both albums are expected to ship by mid March. You can grab them in a bundle together here.
Shouts to J.Lo, and lookout for more pop classics coming your way via Vinyl Me, Please.
