Introducing Our New SWAPS Feature

We’re always trying to make the Vinyl Me, Please member experience better. Our members are why we’re here and building a service that you love is always what’s most important to us. With that, we’re excited to announce a new membership feature called SWAPS.

Each month, we feature a new record that we hope is seen as an amazing addition to your already amazing collection. But, we also know that not every person will love every record. We’ve built SWAPS to give you more flexibility in your membership. Here’s how it works:

What is a SWAP?

A SWAP essentially allows you to exchange an upcoming featured record for something from the VMP Archive*.

*2015 and 2016 archive titles plus select member store titles are currently available (while supplies last). We plan on building this out in the future to allow you to swap for store credit as well.

Who can SWAP?

There are a few ground rules for using SWAPS. First, you must be on a 3, 6, or 12-month membership plan in order to swap records. 3-month members get 1 swap every 3 months, 6-month members get 2 swaps every 6 months and 12-month members get 4 swaps every 12 months. They don’t roll over, so it’s a ‘use it or lose it’ type deal.

Currently, members on the monthly plans are not able to use the SWAPS feature. If you are a monthly member and would like to take advantage of SWAPS (and save a few bucks in the process), you can email us at info@vinylmeplease.com and we will upgrade your membership.

What can I SWAP for?

SWAPS are currently available for the 2015 and 2016 VMP Archive as well as select member store titles (while inventory is available). In the future, we will be building out the program to allow you to swap for store credit as well.

How do I SWAP?

Whenever we announce a new featured record, we will include a SWAP link in the announcement email. If you would like to swap that record for something else, you can click on the link and follow the directions for doing so.

When will this be available?

This is available for all 3, 6 or 12-month members starting with the May record of the month. We haven’t announced our May record yet, but when we do, we will include a swap link in the announcement email. Regardless of the month, swaps must be submitted before the 2nd of the month.
