Sarah Beth Tomberlin, known mononymously as Tomberlin, follows up her 2020 EP with a second album, i don't know who needs to hear this... Following her debut album, Tomberlin rapidly found fame, signing with Saddle Creek, moving to Los Angeles and performing on Jimmy Kimmel. But as 2020 approached with the pandemic, physically and mentally, she found herself drifting from place to place before finally settling in Brooklyn, where she recorded idkwntht with producer and engineer Phil Weinrobe.
Of the album, she said, “The theme of the record is to examine, hold space, make an altar for the feelings.”
